Most essential oils are made based on herbs and have strong odor. First of all, they are prized for their aromatic properties, but they are still rich in nutrients.

The exact proportions in which mix essential and base oils largely depend on your needs and preferences. First of all, decide how much you need to mix your hair.
Short and thin hair may need only a tablespoon of oil, but the long and thick and sometimes need a third cup.
Generally, a mixture composed of the base oil admixed thereto a few drops of an essential oil. Obviously, the more essential oil you add, the stronger the flavor mixture.
For example, prepare a mixture of aromatic hair of medium length. Pour a quarter cup of base oil or base oil mixture in a bowl or bottle.
The result will be better if you heat the oil before applying it on your hair. Pour the oil in a small, sealed plastic bag and drop the package in hot water.
